How to Install Xposed Framework on Nexus 6 Lollipop Devices

We can now flash the Xposed Framework to the Nexus 6 or other devices running Lollipop 5.0. This is because it now needs to be flashed from a custom recovery and only works on ARM7+ devices.
At the time of writing it caused Samsung devices with custom ROMS to get stuck in a bootloop so please don't use this of that applies to you.
Requirements:

To install:
  • Make a Nandroid Backup
  • Power off device
  • Boot into Recovery Mode(hold power and volume down button simultaneously)
  • Select Install
  • Navigate to Downloads (or wherever you downloaded the 2 Xposed files to) and selectxposed-arm-20150213b.zip
  • If using TWRP you will now have to swipe to start flash
  • When installation finishes select Reboot System or whatever the equivalent on your custom recovery
  • Enable Unknown Sources on your device (Settings > Security > Unknown Sources)
  • Open Downloads (or wherever you downloaded the 2 Xposed files to) and selectXposedInstaller_3.0-alpha1.apk
  • Select Install
Xposed is now installed on your Nexus 6 or Lollipop device. When you open the Xposed Installer from your App Drawer you will still see messages saying "installation is only possible manually via recovery for now". This is normal and it should be working. You just need to find Lollipop compatible modules, Tinted Status Bar Beta was pointed out as a good module to test if it is working on your device.
